THE USE OF ICT TOOLS IN SCHOOL AND THEIR EFFECTIVENESS 

As an English 'A' teacher at Stewartville Secondary School my experience with ICT tools has been very positive impact in the classrooms. As a teacher ,I use various tools such as the computer, PowerPoint presentation, multiple educational websites, YouTube videos and they would have all helped me to enhance teaching and learning in the classrooms. Theses tools also help me to make my lesson more fun , engaging, interactive and also accessible for students. 

The effectiveness of ICT tools can be seen in the participation and motivation of students during lessons. Technology is really helpful to students and teachers. It allows learners to access information quickly , do research and also collaborate with their peers to get work done. Technology in classrooms also help the students to develop important digital literacy skills which  helps them in all subjects area. ICT tools also provides instructions and various strategies that cater for all students needs and different abilities. 

In addition, ICT has also improved communication all over the world with teachers, students and parents through the various online platforms. It has made lesson, planning, assessments and record keeping more efficient and organized. Overall, ICT now plays a significant role in modern education by creating a more technological and dynamic learning environment which is helping students today to develop the skills needed for success in the 21st century.
